Veterinary Technician
SNIP WV is searching for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to add to our team to get our clinic open! SNIP WV is a 501©(3) organization located in Morgantown, West Virginia, and will be the first high volume spay and neuter clinic in the north central West Virginia area. We will serve clients in north central West Virginia as well as the surrounding areas of Pennsylvania and Maryland. This clinic is desperately needed so that spay/neuter is more accessible to everyone. With the addition of this clinic in our community, more animals will get spayed or neutered ensuring a decrease in the influx of animals to our local shelters and rescue groups every year.
Responsibilities:

Helping prep animals for surgery

Monitoring animals in Post Op

Performing select wellness services including but not limited to: vaccinations, nail trims, ear cleanings, microchipping, and SNAP blood tests.

Checking in animals for spay and neuter surgeries

Checking out animals after spay and neuter surgeries

Recording accurate and detailed paperwork

Light housekeeping of kennels/lobby areas
Requirements:

Current Veterinary Technician License

Surgical experience in a fast-paced environment

Valid driver’s license/reliable transportation

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to lift 40+ pounds
